Guest Group Rentals

Westminster Woods is a wonderful location for a retreat or other group getaway! We serve a variety of new and returning organizations every year – church groups, youth and college retreats, adult gatherings, and more. We are able to hosts groups with 20 to 200 participants, with great package rates that include lodging, delicious meals, meeting rooms, and plenty of outdoor space for fun activities!

The Woods has miles of hiking trails, a one-of-a-kind playground for kids of all ages, a full basketball court, sand volleyball, Ga-Ga ball, and a big green field for soccer, football, Frisbee, or whatever!

Please note:  Due to our exciting Summer Programs we do not have availability for group rentals during June and July. During the school year, our guest group rentals are limited to weekends (Friday-Sunday) because of our renowned School Programs. For a number of reasons, we are unable to host weddings, except under special circumstances, and usually only from November-March. We rarely host family reunions, and never during the summer.

Challenge Course

Challenge Course programs are a great addition to a weekend retreat or on their own. We offer half-day and full-day experiences to fit your schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We do not offer soda, candy or other snacks for purchase; groups are encouraged to bring their own for their participants, if so desired. Hot tea and organic coffee are available during your stay in the dining hall (fresh coffee in the morning; instant thereafter). There are two markets for purchasing food or other items in Occidental, five minutes away by car.

  • Our Dorm-style Cabins feature bunk beds that are designed for kids and teens, but are comfortable for most adults. Everyone brings their own sleeping bags, pillows, and towels. Bathrooms and showers are just a short walk away in each cabin area.

    Our three Guest Lodges each include three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, dining area, and deck. Bed linens and towels are provided upon request. Each house can accommodate 7-8 adults comfortably, or up to 12 people maximum.

    We also have a few cabins/rooms with their own bathrooms that are available as extra private lodging units for individuals, couples, or small families. Feel free to ask about these rooms when making your group’s lodging arrangements.

  • No, most cell phones will not have service here. There are landlines available in the dining hall, the main office, and the three Guest Houses.

  • WiFi is available in all of our meeting rooms, the dining hall, the three Guest Houses, and near the Main Office. Many guests use a WiFi calling app on their phones to make and/or receive phone calls.

  • Yes, firewood is on site for your use, but we are often unable to allow campfires during the warm, dry months due to the elevated fire danger.
